I ran into an interesting situation while working on my client’s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He uses the Shopify website builder for his site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve found, when you are making more then one page outside of the home & one other page, you are required to create a new “metaobject template.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When in the editor, there is are two drop down menus at the top middle of your screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The left drop down is for the market, leave that one alone. The drop down beside it should say which page your on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Open that menu and look to the bottom, it should say “Create metaobject template.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click that and it will take you to a page where you can create a new page template. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once done, go ahead and create a new page and make sure you set the template to the one you just created, should be another dropdown menu on the right side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There you go, you just create a new page that’s not connected to any other page and can edit it freely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
